Our Goals are simple

`Promote Cycling`
`Save our customers money`
`Save the planet by keeping bicycles out of landfill`

The Company initially started by Matt Murphy as a online retailer in 2009. Working from home, we sold parts and accessories online. As the business grew we moved to a storage facility in the town of Kessingland, Suffolk where the business continued to expand.

We started to promote other services to the local people and the repairs and servicing side of the business took off.

It was clear at this point that the business needed retail premises and the company moved into its shop in April 2011, and the the company had a base to provide cycle hire & repairs with it.

2012 was a successful year for the company, with CycleRecycle winning Start Up Business of the year, and Highly commended for `Greenest Business`in the Lowestoft & Waveney Chamber of Commerce Awards Gala

This success lead to CycleRecycle being featured in The Guardian newspaper and live interviews with BBC Radio Suffolk and BBC Radio 2

Since then we have grown from strength to strength, servicing thousands of bikes, repaired even more, and kept 1000s of bicycles out of landfill

In October 2019 we opened our second premises in Beccles, Suffolk

In April 2021 the company became a limited company trading as CycleRecycleUK Ltd, and Michelle Murphy joined the company as finance director.

In November 2021, CycleRecycle won Environmental Business award, and was runnier up in Business of the year.

In February 2022 we opened our 3rd store in Long Stratton, Norfolk - sadly in July a fire destroyed the building. In November 2022 we closed our Beccles store, to focus on our Kessingland store, and await the rebuilding of our Long Stratton store.
